Catholic Cup
This picture was taking when a goal was made by Carter Cameau. I decided to get closer noticing the better angles i got when shooting up closer to the glass of the rink. The boys reaction to the goal was priceless jumping on each other along the glass with joy.
I decided to take this photo capturing the moment of the win the boys took that day. I got really close taking a picture of the whole team holding and surrounding the cup. Getting the score board in the back of the winning score was just another reason why i decided to get low and get a good angle when taking this picture.
Once i got a lot of pictures of the boys reactions after they made a good play or scored a goal i decided to to get the focus of the actual game. Here in this picture number 9 (Carter Cameau) is the focus point on the ice, surrounding him is the stands filled with kids from Brennan.
Patterns
I captured this picture while going for the lines of the dish rag hanging on the dish washer in my kitchen, noticing there could be more in the picture. Widening the frame i also captured the railing of the dishwasher leading to the drawers of the cabinets also in the kitchen. This creates connecting/following lines, having the picture "never end".
Also while taking pictures for patterns i decided to capture the pattern of the painted brick in my hallway of my house. The texture was brought out so much more when the yellow brick was painted white so i thought it would've been a good patter. Very simple but i like how not every brick is the same its unique in a way i decided to capture.
Easter spent with my friends
Spending the long weekend with family and friends I decided to capture the good old times spent with my best friends laughing. While I was capturing pictures I realized these pictures I loved the most seeing the people I care about so much so happy, so I made sure to capture the environment we were in. With the first few pictures I captured of my good friend Jessica, we always love spending time in her backyard so I focused on the time of her jumping on the trampoline and including the flowers that I thought would be beautiful capturing for the theme of the weekend shoot.
